Three completed

I finally wrapped up these three commissions and it’s a bit of a bittersweet event. Still, I’m glad the owners are happy and new works are on the horizon.

Here’s an update on the portrait of my grandfather and his brothers. I’m starting to get back to working on these little black and white paintings.

Vacation smiles

A new years portrait study of a vacation in Florida from years past. I challenge myself to make this a quick study but in reality I found myself absorbed in it for quite awhile.

Revisiting a memory

I made the opportunity to paint a black and white 8 by 10 inch painting of my son over the holiday weekend. My other painting projects are still in need of attention but I needed a smallish, quick project to get back into working again.
