Two Portraits – still fussing

I’m no writer, that’s for sure! At least that’s what I believe as I sit at my keyboard trying to come up with informative and interesting content. I have been extremely inconsistent with my painting and my posting. Yet here I am again, wiping the dust off and posting more entries here. Not having coffee is no excuse as I’ve already had a cup or two. My brain is still smooth and sailing beneath the “Cliffs of Insanity”!

The first portrait is a painting that I started this blog with I believe, or at least near the beginning anyway. My father visited last January and asked me for it. I was/am very happy he liked it that much and said of course he could. Well, It wasn’t completed and needed attention but things don’t always go smoothly. Disaster came along and provided me the opportunity to do an entirely new version. It is almost complete now.. I hope

This second WIP is of my son and daughter-in-law on there wedding day. I also started it over a year ago and I’m hoping very much to get my old rumpus in gear and complete it too before 2025 is over.
